About SculpSure®
SculpSure® is a non-invasive technique for reducing pockets of unwanted fat on a variety of areas of the body. SculpSure® uses the power of thermal energy calibrated to a wavelength that specifically targets adipose tissue or fat. The energy heats the fat to a temperature between 42°C and 47°C, destroying the unwanted cells and allowing the body to process and filter them away naturally. The SculpSure® device uses a proprietary technology called Contact Cooling™ to keep your skin cool and comfortable during treatment.
SculpSure® is especially effective for reducing unwanted fat in the following areas:

Although it’s not a perfect alternative to liposuction, SculpSure® is often appropriate for people who wish to avoid surgery. Patients can expect to lose about 20-24% of the targeted fat cells. Your SculpSure® Procedure
Your SculpSure® treatment is performed in our office, and you can expect your appointment to last about 30-90 minutes depending on the treatment area. At the beginning of your appointment, we evaluate your treatment area to select the best applicator pattern for your specific needs. Next, we hook up the applicator heads to the pattern and switch on the machine.
As the machine works, you’ll likely feel some sensations of warmth and tingling, but the procedure is not painful, and no anesthesia is required. While the device works, you may read or browse the Internet. Each treatment area session is completed in 25 minutes. Other areas can then be treated or you can return to your active lifestyle. Recovery & Results
Immediately following your treatment, you may comfortably return to your everyday activities. In the weeks following the treatment, the targeted fat cells are filtered out of the body through your normal metabolic processes.
Many patients report seeing results after 6 weeks or so, with ultimate results appearing 12 weeks after the procedure. While the fat cells removed by the treatment will not come back, it’s still important to stick to healthy diet and exercise habits to prevent future weight gain.
