How Does EMSCULPT NEO Work?

EMSCULPT NEO combines two types of energy to both build muscle and burn fat during a single treatment. The treatment delivers high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy (HIFEM+), stimulating rapid muscle contractions, while simultaneously heating the area with radiofrequency (RF) energy to target subcutaneous fat cells. The RF energy damages fat without harming the skin or surrounding tissues. Treated fat cells are naturally flushed out of the body during the ensuing weeks.

Before beginning the treatment, we’ll discuss your concerns and ensure that you’re a good candidate for the procedure. You’ll then relax on a comfortable treatment table, and the provider will place the applicator on the treatment area and secure it with a strap. We’ll adjust the device settings based on your goals and then start the procedure.

Electromagnetic pulses cause intense, rapid muscle contractions while the radiofrequency energy creates a warm sensation (similar to a hot stone massage) as it penetrates the skin and targets fat cells.
