Chemical Peels
Taking good care of your skin should be an important part of your routine at any age. Research shows that healthy, vibrant skin helps you look naturally younger and more attractive. Effective treatments such as medical-grade chemical peels, combined with sound skin care advice and professional recommendations, can dramatically change the way you look and feel. The talented team at YES Medspa in Langley, and other nearby areas, looks forward to helping you select facial skin care treatments designed to address your specific skin care concerns and give you more beautiful skin.
At YES Medspa we offer a range of chemical peels to suit the needs of your skin. These medical-grade chemical peels use high potency ingredients such as lactic acid, Glycolic acid, Resorcinol or salicylic acid to chemically exfoliate the skin by dissolving its outermost dead, dry layers. We can safely treat everything from hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, fine lines, wrinkles and other textural concerns. These peels are completely customizable and are designed to treat a range of skin conditions A peel protocol will be designed to best fit your skin and can contain any combination of the below chemical peels.
What to Expect
Chemical peels are most commonly recommended to treat skin concerns on the face, however, we can also treat the neck, décolletage and hands.

Chemical peel treatments typically take from 20 to 40 minutes to perform, depending on the specific peel being used, areas being treated, and the condition of the skin. The skin is cleansed and prepped prior to the peel application. The peel is then applied to the skin in thin layers, allowed to take effect on the skin in between each layer. Depending on the type of peel you receive, the peel will either be neutralized and removed or left to self neutralize on the skin overnight. Over a period of up to 2 weeks, the treated layers of skin gradually exfoliate and peel off, revealing fresh new skin.
With all chemical peels at YES Medspa, a post treatment care kit with necessary at home skin care is included in the price of your treatment package. You will be required to use these products for the first 5 days after your treatment to help protect and heal your skin. Sun protection is crucial the days following your chemical peel.
How many treatments are needed?
The number of treatments needed will depend on your specific skin conditions. Although you can see nice results with one treatment, a series of treatments is often recommended to treat more complicated skin conditions. These treatments when performed in a series are spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
