Juvéderm®
At YES Medspa, we offer the entire Juvéderm® family of products for enhancing all areas of the face. Results typically last about 9 months to 2 years, depending on the product and treatment area. Options include:

Jawline/Chin Enhancement
Many people are born with a less-defined or “weak” chin, and others experience chin recession as they age. In any case, a lack of definition in the chin area can contribute to features that look out of balance, a disproportional profile, or an appearance of a “double” chin. Chin enhancement with facial fillers is a relatively straightforward procedure to bring out the chin, creating more of a distinction between the neck and jaw, and a sense of balance among the features.
Our physicians specialize in facial procedures to help you look and feel your best. Even a simple procedure such as chin enhancement can make a dramatic improvement in your appearance and self-confidence.
If chin enhancement is performed with dermal and facial fillers, results are seen immediately post treatment. Patients can expect moderate swelling and tenderness to their chin and jawline for 2-3 weeks. On occasion, bruising post injection can occur. At YES Medspa, Dr. Mosher and Dr. Lo have a specific pre and post-treatment protocol to help reduce risk of bruising.
Chin & jawline enhancement using dermal and facial fillers typically lasts anywhere from 18-24 months. This allows our patients the option to see the results and outcome of their procedure without the permanence of surgery. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can also be dissolved with hyaluronidase, should patients wish to reduce their chin enhancement sooner than the expected lifespan of the dermal fillers.
Your Dermal Filler Procedure
Dr. Mosher or Dr. Lo will administer dermal fillers through a series of tiny injections under the skin’s surface. Our physicians’ experience and caring approach have made these treatments more comfortable than ever. The product adds volume to the face in areas where it has been lost, giving the skin a smoother, more youthful contour. The entire procedure takes approximately 20 to 45 minutes, with results that are immediately visible. Swelling can last up to 2 weeks. Some patients have redness at the injection site that typically subsides within 24 to 48 hours. Results are long-lasting, but not permanent, which makes this facial rejuvenation treatment popular among Vancouver patients who want flexible cosmetic options.

How long do fillers last?
How long fillers last depends on the specific filler used. Some fillers need touch-up treatments after 6 to 9 months while other fillers, such as JUVÉDERM VOLUMA, may last as long as 2 years.
Are dermal fillers better than BOTOX?
Fillers and BOTOX treat different types of wrinkles and are often combined during a treatment.
