Revision Breast Surgery Before & After Case 439

This 40-year-old patient from the Tri-city area came to see Dr. Mosher to discuss the removal and replacement of her implants. She was bothered by the feeling of the implants on the outer edges of the breast during activity and felt that drifted outwards with time. Her goal was to decrease the size of her implants slightly. 

During her consultation, Dr. Mosher reviewed the risks and expectations of revisional breast surgery with her in detail. He discussed that with the already present gravity-related changes to the breast, decreasing her implant size would result in more laxity to the breast. He recommended a lift at the time of the implant removal and replacement. This recommendation was agreed upon and carried out, along with the removal of scar tissue around her old implants. The patient chose 325cc smooth round moderate profile saline implants that were inserted in a subpectoral position. 

These photos were taken at her 4-month follow-up. She will continue to see improvements to her mastopexy scars over the next 6-12 months.
