Breast Lift Before & After Case 64

42-year old lady, 5"6 and 160lbs. She felt that her breasts were sagging and asymmetric. She was currently wearing a 36 C bra but she wanted her breasts to be lifted, firmer and less tired looking.

During the consultation it was clarified that the goal was not to have larger breasts. Furthermore, the patient recognized the significant differences in her breast sizes pre-operatively and noted that this created clothing and garment challenges.

A standard mastopexy was performed that included a small reduction of the left breast volume. She has been extremely happy with the results.

Surgical scars at the time of after photo were maturing normally for 3 months post-op. With additional time and following the recommended scar managment an excellent final outcome was assured.

Dr. Mosher noted that adding an implant would have achieved a larger and fuller outcome if the patient had requested this. However, combining breast augmentation with breast lift increases the risk of surgical complications, raises the cost of surgery and may increase the need for additional breast surgery in the future. Every patient situation is unique.
