Breast Augmentation Before & After Case 9

This 37 year old mother of one wanted to have breast augmentation. Her breasts had always been very small and the nipple had pouted outward. During her pregnancy she developed a slightly larger breast but all of this disappeared after she stopped nursing. She wanted a proportional breast size and a normal looking breast and nipple. She was 5' 5" and 125 lbs.

At consultation the options and the limitations of surgery were discussed. She had a very lean torso with no breast tissue and a tubular or patulous nipple areolar complex. There was no breast fold and the chest wall was not symmetrical with less development of the chest muscle on the right side and a lower right nipple position as well. 

Having never had visible breasts, she requested a rounder and fuller final breast shape. 

A proportional sized round, high profile, cohesive silicone gel breast implant was selected.

These were placed into a sub-pectoral pocket through the inframammary fold incisions. She is very happy with her results and does not feel that a second procedure to reduce and tighten the areola is necessary.  She likes the shape of her breasts.
