Breast Augmentation Before & After Case 63
Before & After
Case Details
This 28-year-old lady came to our practice wanting to restore the volume she had prior to loosing weight. Prior to her weight loss she was a C-cup. She was tall and lean at 115 lbs with concave and deflated breasts.
She was wanting a fuller more noticeable final look from augmentation. Several options were considered. In each case the options included breast implants that were not wider than her native breast tissues to minimize and implant edge palpability and wrinkling. A high profile round implant was felt to best suit her goals. Style 20 375 cc Natrelle cohesive silicone gel implants were placed into a dual-plane or sub-pectoral location. She has continued to enjoy the final results of her surgery.
Dr. Mosher commented further that the space between the breasts for all patients is largely determined by the patients unique breast and muscular anatomy. This patient could not safely have the breast implants positioned closer together while still getting the benefits of muscle covering the implants. Choosing a higher profile and/or larger implant achieved the size and shape that was important for her but as in this case will often make the cleavage "walls" steeper, increase the depth of the cleavage and may exaggerate the space or gap between the breasts. Understanding how your anatomy and your implant choice will influence the outcome is an important part of the consultation process.
