Breast Augmentation and Lift Before & After Case 67

This lady who was 37 years old was wanting a very full and firm look to the upper portion of her breasts. She had had 2 children. She did not want a breast lift or visible surgical scars.

During her consultation there were several features that were discussed and her goals were balanced with what was achievable.

Dr. Mosher pointed out to her the significant asymmetries in her breasts as well as the stretched out breast and areolar tissues. An optimal outcome without a breast lift was not felt to be possible. The patient was willing to accept less up-lifting and upper pole fullness in exchange for a more limited circumareolar lift. She accepted the fact that her skin coloring would also make her scars more visible and that a large implant was not a good idea.

Natrelle Style 15 round cohesive silicone gel implants were selected and placed into a dual-plane (sub-pectoral) pocket. On the right 286 cc and on the left 304 cc. A areolar lift and reduction was carried out instead of the recommended standard breast lift to avoid a vertical scar on the lower breast. The patient has been happy with the improvements. Post opertively visible asymmetries persist but they are improved.
