Breast Augmentation and Lift Before & After Case 530

Before & After
Case Details
Seeking both an improvement in size and a more youthful positioning, the above patient found her solution with a breast augmentation and lift in Langley, with Dr. Mathew C. Mosher.
After considering different techniques, Dr. Mosher and the patient agreed upon a highly cohesive silicone gel implant, combined with a mastopexy, to meet her goals. She selected 375cc cohesive silicone gel implants, placed in a subglandular position– placing the implant above the chest muscle, but below the breast tissue can provide a fuller upper pole appearance to the breasts.
Dr. Mosher was able to achieve a lovely enhancement and rejuvenation to this patient's appearance. Mild asymmetries were present pre-operatively, and although improved, are still visible post operatively. This patient experienced early post op complications due to delayed healing as a result of smoking. A secondary surgery is recommended to improve the lower pole contours of the right breast using fat transfer. The scars will continue to fade and soften over the next 6-12 months. The lower right pole may continue to soften and round as well, without surgical intervention.
For all lifting procedures, Dr. Mosher recommends smoking cessation for a minimum of 6 weeks prior to surgery and 6 weeks post surgery to reduce the risk of delayed wound healing.
As an accredited member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, his training and experience provide custom and complex surgical plans to help our clients achieve the visual improvements they desire.
