This 51 year old woman visited YES to discuss Abdominoplasty surgery. She was bothered by the excess volume and skin laxity to abdomen. 

An extended Abdominoplasty was performed by Dr. Mosher. Photos were taken to record results at her 6 month follow up appointment. 

This is a great example of how long a tummy tuck scar can be. The scar must extend as far as the excess skin does, or in other words, how far the fold goes. In some cases, when there is not enough skin laxity to remove the old belly button 'hole' with the excess tissue, a small vertical scar is needed to close up the old 'belly button' hole as seen here.
