This woman had two full term pregnancies and was not planning on having more children. Her goals were to have her clothes fit better and improve her figure. 

Her post op photos were taken 3 months after a standard abdominoplasty with repair of a small umbilical hernia. 

She has been very happy with her results and is back to wearing many of her clothes that had become uncomfortable before surgery. Now she has become more motivated to exercise in hopes of further improving the appearance of her torso.

Dr. Mosher points out just how important it is to be physically fit before surgery and to return to healthy eating and exercise habits in order to maintain the results of surgery. Abdominoplasty surgical scars continue to improve for up to two years after surgery. Position and shape of the incision is slightly different for each patient and depends on many factors. In most case scars are placed to ease cover with underclothes and bathing suits.
