Liposuction Before & After Case 440

This 57-year-old patient from the Vancouver area came to our office to discuss her options for reducing localize volume to her abdomen and flanks. She had previously tried a single session of a non-surgical modality to her lower abdomen in 2018 but did not see the results she was hoping for.

Dr. Mosher reviewed the non-surgical and surgical options available to her in detail. He discussed the risk of worsened laxity to the abdomen with the removal of too much volume as well as the other risks and expectations of liposuction surgery. In the end, the patient decided to go with the surgical option, and liposuction of the flanks, and upper and lower abdomen was performed. 

These photos were taken at her 5-month follow-up. With her ethnicity, the appearance of the lipo-sites is to be expected and will continue to heal over the next 6-12 months.
