Liposuction Before & After Case 367

This 55 year old patient met with Dr. Mosher to discuss options for body contouring. 

His weight was stable at time of consultation. Upon physical assessment, Dr. Mosher determined that a combination of both subcutaneous fat and visceral fat were contributing to his torso shape. 

Liposuction was discussed as an option to address the subcutaneous fat layer, however only diet and exercise can truly reduce the visceral fat layer. 

A combination of traditional liposuction and SmartLipo was performed to this patient's abdomen and flanks. 

Photos were taken 6 months after surgery. Significant improvements were achieved. The patient is working towards reducing the remaining volume on his own with diet and exercise.
